on wednesday 28th april me and paddy maher along with youth worker paul wiswell went along to an anti-bullying conference in blackpool where we discussed different bullying situations on school and public transport. there were many different ages there ranging from 9-17. we discussed how the schools and local authorities (LA's) tackle bullying on transport and what has been done to prevent bullying from happening in different situations. there were different workshops and different discussions taken place between the young people and the adult generation. overall the feedback from the day was very good and certainly gave oldham another good name. :)
